Colored Searchlight vs. White Searchlight

How can two lights look so similar but be so different?

The Novalight High Ground
With the Novalight High-ground and the Novalight Booster, the difference is black and white!
While both lights are aerial effects lights, High-ground comes in 5 dichroic colors, plus white and rainbow, while the Booster doesn’t.  Also, while the Booster’s fan effect may look similar to the High-ground’s zoom effect, they are not the same.

The Novalight Booster
The Booster’s fan effect is bright and noticeable – able to be seen from 4-6 miles away – but it is simple.  It opens, showing a stunning array of light beams, and closes, focusing the beam into one.  The Booster is also an easy to use, stand alone on/off system.  Just place it where you want, turn it on, and go!

The High-ground however, is made for much more intensive use.  Not only does it boast an impressive zoom effect – able to go from 1.8° to 20° in less than a second – but it also comes with shutter and strobe effects as well.  The High-ground also features RDM DMX control and a Graphic Liquid Crystal Display for ease in setup and diagnostic – two more things the Booster lacks.

While the High-ground may appear to blow the Booster out of the sky, remember that they both serve different functions!  The Booster is a wonderful light for personal or commercial use, while the High-ground is more useful for entertainment lighting, such as T.V. or concerts.

Both lights come with the Novalight promise of unquestionable quality, and both are completely weatherproof, so regardless of which light you need, you’re still getting a top-notch product!
